After buying gear, do not waste time. You have five minutes per round to complete the map objective or eliminate the enemy team. Objectives depend on the map. The most common are “de_” maps, where terrorists plant a bomb, and “cs_” maps, where counter-terrorists rescue hostages.
On de_ maps, terrorists plant the bomb at one of two sites, usually A or B. Counter-terrorists must find and defuse it. If time runs out, CTs win. On cs_ maps, CTs must escort hostages to safety. If time runs out, terrorists win.
CS 1.6 Server Mods

Surf
Players race to finish a course as fast as possible. They slide along sloped surfaces and jump onto high platforms. Some maps include weapons, which allow full combat.
CSDM
This mode adds purchasable turrets and laser mines. Players place them smartly to kill enemies and earn many frags and cash. After death, players respawn instantly.
War3FT
A complex but popular mode that mixes CS 1.6 with WarCraft 3 ideas. Players choose a race with unique abilities, such as vampirism, invisibility, critical damage, fireballs, or lightning. To unlock new skills, players gain experience by completing objectives.
GunGame
